American Airlines to add daily flights to Recife
American Airlines, will start daily flights from Miami to Recife on Nov. 2,
According to MarketWatch:
“Recife, also on the northeast coast, is often called the “Venice of Brazil” because of numerous waterways and bridges that cross the city. Nearby white-sand beaches and a vibrant culture add to the color of Recife, and two ports make the city a prime business center.“
They also posted the introductory fares for those flights:
“American’s introductory fares start as low as $425* each way (with required round-trip purchase), making a trip to Brazil as affordable as it is convenient. And with double AAdvantage miles** to all three new destinations, traveling to Brazil will be rewarding as well.“
It seems that a new bunch of Americans will be coming to Recife next year, who until now they had to struggle by going first to São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro and then come to Recife on a domestic flight, this was very expensive and time consuming.
Finally American Airlines did it, until now Recife only received regular international flights from Lisbon via TAP.
